Self Evaluation

This will not come to pass; this has definitely come to stay – BLOG!

It is a joyful thing to see the accomplishments that one has made this quarter. The beginning was so scary, especially for the fear of overly cyber exposure, since one was not sure of what is secure or not on the web. But the reality of the possibility of failing this class wIth such high fees for an international student,  summoned all it took in me to come through so well.

My primary goal in this project was to learn how to blog. My secondary goal was to share information on Diabetes, especially on “Healthy Eating”. These two goals have been achieved! At the beginning of this quarter, one could never have imagined the possibility of being this familiar with blogging by this time. But now, at this point, I can boldly talk about Infographic; Closed Caption Video making (my favorite); Prezi, Animoto, Glog, Google.Doc; and even Youtube! Now I also know how to embed and share information. I have no fears in re-arranging and re-designing my blog pages to achieve my desired looks. I am encouraged in the recognition and usage of all these tools as great assets in my profession.

Success in this class would have been much more difficult if not for the team work that was shown by you, my course-mates, who were always willing to share the slightest information or knowledge that you got from your own “trials-and-errors”. Your well appreciated, constructive criticisms and candid praises have upheld my confidence in achieving this remarkable end.

Yes, this new outlook will surely be explored henceforth with all due consideration and implementation of your final comments and suggestions which all echo that I am going in the right direction .

Voila! All is well that ends well. Although not a perfect job, this eye-opening experience within such a limited time frame has shown me my potentials in using technology to my advantage in my career. It has equally boosted my confidence to venture and explore.
